Multi Modal Connectivity for Bangalore

With Urban Transport  getting into more focus,  Bangalore is no where near to the Multi Modal Tranport, even one place  is not been takn up for  good implimentation by Authorities.

Place like :  KBS + BMTC + METRO + Bangalore city station + Pedistrican + Auto / Taxi + BiCycle

The state Cabinet has deferred the proposal of Siemens Ltd, a majority stakeholder in Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), to divest 40 per cent of its stake in the BIAL.

It may be recalled that Siemens Ltd had recently decided to sell 14 per cent of its share.

BMTC to introduce 19 feeder services

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will commence Big Connect, its feeder service, on 19 routes from Sunday on an experimental basis for three months. Its continuation thereafter will depend on the response.

Take the case of Kolkotta METRO,  60% concession is offered for students.  I hope BMRC also comes out similar facility for students community.
