Here is some good news concerning public transportation....

Of course it has nothing to do with Bangalore.....In fact I cannot think of any good news coming out of Bangalore in the recent past - except the fact that infighting may dislodge the silly HSRL project.
Frankly I think they should introduce BRTS on the ORR and also build a bus terminal at Hebbal for the airport. Most traffic on Bellary road are goign to the airport. Iff instead they had Volvo busses every five-ten minutes from Hebbal people could take taxis to there and board the bus to the airport - and reverse the process on the way back. This way they greatly reduce traffic and pollution on Bellary/Airport road and this would eliminate the need for a HSRL.
