BRTS for Bangalore: feasibility, suggestions

I was reading through some of the BRTS all over the world both failed and success stories. I wanted to check how feasible to implement this in Bangalore and is there any other alternative to improve the existing system. The major reasons of BRTS failure are:

I had been to the protest march this morning and returned sometime back. It looks like the demolition cannot be stopped. Here are some events which unfolded.

BBMP commissioner had aparently agreed to stay the demolition for the next 2-3 months as consideration (children's education will be impacted.) However, no written commitment (the usual thing)

CM wants Tier 2 and 3 Cities Grow, But where is the growth backbone - Transportation Infrastructure?

Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar on Thursday asked industry members in the state to invest in tier II and tier III cities, besides Bangalore and especially in North Karnataka.
