As part of ABIDe, Prof.Ashwin Mahesh appears to have thoroughly understood all the limitations of having to deal with issues for commencing new city transport services within the existing framework of our polity & citizenry.

He touched upon prevailing operational practices & existing mindsets within BMTC as also those of the expectations of people with regard to BMTC services. He dealt with various issues in an extremely systematic & orderly way & explained all aspects – indeed in a most impressive manner.

Ped subway fever in Mysore

In what appears to be an act of aping big bad brother BBMP, Mysore City Corporation is building subways of pedestrians at not so feasible locations and with no involvement of public.  Am posting my letter sent to the local English daily.

Baner Road - Safety concern

Tried to post this concern in the 'suggestion' portal of Pune Traffic Police, but apparently it is not functional. Was wondering if there is some one in Praja team who is in touch with Pune Traffic police on Safety issues ?
